i think it was easy but i am used to extreme rock crawling. i think there should be a time limit not a short one but one within reason. and i didnt understand why the open class didnt have to make the sharp turn that is the most difficult part and still not hit cones. i think for the pro stock and open should have off camber obstacles and a bigger stair steps. need any more info let me know.

I think we will put in some areas that can be crossed but will be really hard to do and not get a deducted point or two, for exampl that tight turn. Ben

i think mud or deep sand or gravel wouldhave been a good addition to the course.....higher stairsteps too..and possibly set the concrete blocks ina zig zag pattern or at an angle so that both tires dont hit at the same time to make it harder for vehicles without lockers to get over them..............ive also seen courses with tire pits to travel over!

I like the idea of placing the concrete blocks at an angle, and were going to try to get a 3rd. level for the next one, I like the the sand pit also, don't know if we could get a mud pit to work in the arena, theres no water on site there so we would have to truck it in. thanks for the suggestion, keep them coming in, Ben

NO MUD BUT IM IN OPEN AND I WOULD LIKE IT MUCH HARDER MORE TECHNIAL. BIG / OFF CAMBER ETC OBSTACLES. NOT A SPEED THING. MY LOW GEARING DOESNT LIKE GOING FAST.I COULDNT GET THOUGH THOSE CONES EITHER MY TIRE AXLE SIZE WAS TO WIDE .ALSO POSSIBLE RUNNING COURSE FORWARD THEN TURNING AROUND AND RUN IT BACKWARDS 2 RD,

Yeah, with no water on site, mud would be difficult, and that explains why there was none this time. That's too bad... mud is fun.

running backwards sounds fun it would work for everything but the stairway un less it had 2 sides to it ..........and larger hills or deeper holes to put the vehicles at steeper angles...i dunno...just my2 cents

Not actually having the truck do it in reverse, but at the end turning around and driving it again. Ben

Comments from the competitors and spectators are helpfull Thanks Ben Since you cannot add SNOW to the coarse, something wet will easily increase the difficulty of the run. A running waterfall that at the bottom you have a recirculating water pump to keep water usage down to a minimum. You asked. Just my idea from wheeling in wet NW country. Yes, no time race, within reason. I am not interested in a rock race myself. It is neat to watch rock racing, but too d**n expensive to do it. Hope to see you all at the next event. I wish you a lot of success with this endeavor.

ben thats what i meant turing around and running course backwards. or make 1 more part up the middle thats rear hard for bonus points. if someone want to try it on the turn around. either pick oringal backwards or very hard bonus part

This would be a pretty cool obstacle, couldn't get it done on the next challenge, but maybe on the following??? Ben
